Gemma and Chris get married at St Mark’s Church with reception on Princess Caroline, Party Boat
The lovely Gemma and Chris booked me about a year before their lovely wedding. They were keen to get organised as they were both moving to Canada for work! Although very exciting for them both I think they were slightly nervous about getting everything organised and ready for their wedding – as it turned out everything was fine and there was plenty of time for us to arrange all the details for their Princess Caroline party boat wedding photography.
I began the day at Gemma’s parents house. She was getting ready there with her Sister, Mum and Dad. Their home was beautiful and lovely and bright – perfect for the photography! Gemma’s dress was gorgeous – it was simply a silk slip on and then the lacy layer of the dress slipped on over the top to create the most stunning gown! It looked beautifully lightweight and perfectly comfortable to wear all day and well into the night celebrations.
The ceremony was at St Mark’s Church in Woolston – just a short drive from their home. My second photographer Rachel Haward, met Chris and the boys at the church for some fun images of them together before the guests arrived.
Gemma arrived a few minutes later with her family – we captured a few quick images outside the church before heading on in for the ceremony. The inside of St Mark’s Church was really stunning and the light was really pretty.
After a beautiful ceremony we spent some time in the grounds of the church capturing group images as well as a full group shot of all the guests.
Gemma, Chris, Rachel and I then headed to the waterfront where we had some time to get a variety of lovely couple shots.
Mid afternoon we headed to Ocean Village towards the Princess Caroline Party Boat! It was certainly a challenge space wise with so many guests on the boat but it made for a cozy and buzzing atmosphere.
Dinner commenced shortly afterwards and we set sail out on the water as the evening drew nearer.
Thanks for an amazing day Gemma and Chris – I wish you a wonderful life together 🙂 x x x
