Alex and Nick Warwick Castle Wedding photography.
What an amazing wedding this was! When I had the enquiry from Alex and Nick and I heard they were having their day at the beautiful Warwick Castle I was so excited! We met each other just the day before the wedding due to us not living near each other but we hit it off straight away and I was excited to see what the following day would bring.
The weather wasn’t particularly kind to us – a little grey but the rain did hold off until after dark which was lucky. Alex and Nick both got ready at The Lazy Cow Hotel in Warwick, which is where we began the photography. Bridesmaids dressed into beautiful black dresses – nice to see something a little different! The black was gorgeous with the combination of the white lily flowers. Alex dressed her two children before she put on her stunning wedding gown. The dress was strapless and lacy with a beautiful fitted body before expanding around the knee – it suited Alex’s figured so well and she looked beautiful.
Alex travelled down to the castle with her Dad and I was there waiting for her as she arrived. The ceremony room was so breathtaking – it was large with high ceilings and amazing artworked walls with intricate designs and old paintings.
After vows were exchanged we had just enough time for a few group shots before dinner began. Speeches followed shortly afterwards – there were a few tears amongst parents which was really sweet to see but the best man soon had everyone laughing out loud again as he began his stories of Nick on the stag night!
Evening celebrations included sparklers, a hog roast and a beautiful first dance for Alex, Nick and their 2 children. Overall, an amazing day with amazing people!
Have a very happy life together both of you – thanks for making me a part of your day x x x
