Becky & TJ get married – Wedding Photography Burley Manor
Becky and TJ got married at my favourite time of year – Christmas!
It all began in the morning at Becky and TJ’s home. Becky got ready with her sister and her friends who were all bridesmaids. They wore pretty lilac coloured dresses and looked totally gorgeous. Becky’s dress was like something out a fairytale – so elegant, lace sleeves and a skirt that provided just the right amount of fullness and swish!
My second photographer Rachel began her day with TJ , his ushers and best man. The boys got ready together and wore navy suits with lilac ties while TJ wore a dark navy suit to stand out from the rest!
The couple married at the Corpus Christi Church in Bournemouth. It’s a huge place but inside feels warm and cozy with the interior of the church being beautifully brick lined with warming yellows and reds.
As the service began I took my place towards the front of the church to capture our bride as she walked down the aisle. TJ looked just the right combination of nervous but excited! The service was beautiful, everyone sang their hearts out and Becky and TJ barely stopped smiling the whole time.
After the service we had time for plenty of lovely natural images as well as family group photos too. It was a dry day but fairly chilly so we worked quickly before everyone made their way to the reception.
The reception was held at Burley Manor in the barn at the back of the hotel. This hotel is stunning – I hadn’t been there before. Be sure to check out their website – https://www.burleymanor.com/
Once we arrived at Burley Manor, guests waited out front for our couple to arrive. Once there, they were showered in confetti before heading inside for some drinks and canapes. The drawing room at Burley Manor has been recently redecorated and it’s so gorgeous! The guests enjoyed this cozy room while we took the opportunity to capture some couple images out the front of the hotel.
Shortly before the wedding breakfast was served, Rachel and I photographed the barn. The tables looked beautifully Wintry, without looking too Christmassy! There were elements of Christmas denoted through red berries, some holly and a small Christmas tree in the corner, but other than that it was all about the wedding.
Speeches took place once everyone was comfortably seated in the barn. Becky’s Dad kicked things off, followed by TJ and then the Best Man. Food was served after this and everyone enjoyed a beautiful 3 course dinner.
Once it fell dark, Rachel and I took the opportunity to do a few more couple images of Becky and TJ using flash and some fairy lights. It’s nice to experiment in changing lighting conditions for more variety for our couples.
A little later the first dance began and after plenty of party photos I left everyone to enjoy the rest of the evening. Thanks for hosting such a wonderful wedding you two. It was so much fun for me photograph! xxx
