Jennifer and Murray’s wedding – Wedding Photography Penton Park
Wedding photography Penton Park – Where do I begin with the ammmazing wedding of Jen and Murray?! This was such a gorgeous wedding from the word go! I knew Jen would make a truly beautiful bride and when she showed me a picture of her dress at our initial meeting I fell in love with it.
It all began in the morning at Jen’s Mum and Dad’s house in the pretty village of Amport near Andover. Jen got ready with her two bridesmaids, her Mum and her Dad – oh and the 4 doggies too! The cottage that her parents live in is really beautiful and was the perfect place for Jen to get ready. The atmosphere was so relaxed – everyone was really at ease.
Jen booked a horse and carriage to take herself and her Dad to the wedding. The weather wasn’t really on our side at this point – it was pretty damp and drizzly but luckily the carriage was covered so Jen’s hair wouldn’t spoil on route to the church.
The ceremony took place in the sweet little Holy Trinity Church in the village of Penton. This is such a gorgeous little village – it’s what I would call a ‘proper’ village! As Jen arrived with her Dad the guests were ushered inside the church so the ceremony could commence.
After the service we had time for confetti shots, and a photo of Jen and Murray with Grandma before she went home. Guests and myself then made our way to Penton Park which was just down the road from the church. This is a great venue for weddings. Their website can be found here: http://www.pentonpark.co.uk/
Jen and Murray did a couple of laps around the village before making their grand entrance to Penton Park – they were like royalty arriving – fantastic!
As guests enjoyed their champagne and canapés I cracked on with group photos and couple photos. It was still damp and cold at this point but Jen and Murray were brave and ventured outside for a few couple shots.
As guests sat down for the wedding breakfast there was a break in the cloud as the sun began to set and we were greeted with this beautiful, warm orange glow! It arrived just before food came out and so Jen, Murray and myself ran outside to make the most of the change in weather.
After the wedding breakfast was enjoyed, the speeches commenced and then guests were able to enjoy the rest of the house and the cozy fires.
After a romantic first dance, I left Jen and Murray to party into the night. Thanks Jen and Murray, your wedding was a photographers dream! xxx
