Sharda & Anup’s Winchester Wedding
The beautiful Sharda and Anup got married mid November at Winchester Registry Office. We had some lovely sunshine for the majority of the day – very cold but bright and crisp for photos!
I met Anup at the registry office in the morning and waited with him and his family for Sharda to arrive. She looked so beautiful and I loved her dress. I’m a big fan of lacy wedding dresses so hers was right up my street. I loved the off the shoulder details and the longer sleeves – it was really elegant. Sharda loves peonies and due to the time of year these flowers weren’t in season so she had a gorgeous artificial bouquet made instead. It certainly looked the part and it’s something she can keep forever.
The ceremony was wonderful. There were tears had by both bride and groom and plenty of the guests were welling up too! It was really emotional and even I was feeling a little tearful from behind the camera!
After the ceremony we all walked down through the town centre to the Cathedral grounds so we could grab some group shots in front of the main doors. Luckily it was fairly quiet down there and it was just before the Christmas market opened so we didn’t have too many people around. Once group shots were finished Sharda, Anup and I took some time together to capture the couple shots. They then headed to the yummy ASK Pizza where they had a relaxed family lunch. I went home at this stage and rejoined them for the evening celebrations.
The evening was held at Walker, Austin and Alexander, a contemporary little cafe in Little Minster Street in Winchester. The evening saw plenty of extra friends and family arriving and there was an amazing atmosphere! The cafe was fairly small but it was just perfect for the numbers that were invited. The staff were brilliant and the caterers amazing, providing plenty of hot, fresh foods for the guests.
After speeches, we had just enough time for a few more couple shots outside by the amazing Christmas tree and then I left everyone to party the night away.
Sharda and Anup – your wedding was amazing. I truly enjoyed being a part of it and capturing all those memories for you. x x x
